The effects of integrating digital storytelling with metacognition strategies (DSTMC) learning model to enhance communication abilities

چکیده
Communication skills are soft critical for students’ development in educational institutions the digital age. This study aims to determine feasibility and practicality of a learning model, which combines storytelling with metacognitive strategy called DSTMC model. model utilized as primary step integrated strategies monitor thinking process improve communication, such listening, speaking, reading, writing, presentation skills. The research was conducted through case studies at regional, southern Thailand university. data were collected from 30 undergraduate participants. instruments expert validation, pre-/post-test data, self-assessment questionnaire. showed that is an alternative teaching method communication skills, including writing. results test scores self-assessments provide significant evidence indicating it increases their retention information. paper concludes suggestions using various motivating activities encourage learners’ proficiency.
